HOW TO MOTIVATED YOURSELF TO LEARN


Motivation refers to the driving forces or reasons behind a person's actions, behaviors, and goals that drive them to achieve certain goals, or pursue certain outcomes. Motivation can be categorized into two main types:

1. Internal Motivation.
    Internal motivation, also known as intrinsic motivation, arises from within a person. It is driven by a person's inherent personal values, interests, and desires to engage in a particular activity. For example: a person who studies hard because they want to get into their dream school.

2. External Motivation.
    External motivation, also known as extrinsic motivation, is driven by external factors or rewards that come from outside the individual. For example: someone who studies hard because their parents give them a reward.

1. Set Goals.

    Setting clear and achievable goals helps provide direction and purpose in learning.  Whether it's completing a specific course, mastering a new skill, or achieving a certain grade, goals serve as a roadmap to success and motivate individuals to stay focused and committed.

 2. Remembering Long-Term Goals.

    It is important to keep long-term goals in mind throughout the learning process.  Visualize the future outcome and let it drive you forward.

 3. Create a Study Schedule.

    Having a clear schedule helps prioritize study activities, ensure regular practice and build habits of consistency.

4. Adapt To Individual Interests.

    When you find a subject or topic that matches your personal interests, you will find it easier to engage with the material and stay motivated to learn more.

5. Determine Your Learning Style.

    Every individual has a preferred learning style, whether visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or a combination thereof.  Understanding your learning style can help tailor your learning methods and techniques to maximize your understanding.
